Remembering Mary Lott Ogden, wife of Walter Ross Ogden:

Mary Lott Ogden was born in Joseph, Utah on March 25, 1918.

She was the second oldest of 8 children and grew up in Joseph, UT.

She lost both of her parents with-in 4 months of each other when

she was just 16. With 6 younger brothers and sisters, she became the Mom.

She met Ross at a dance at Shady-Dell. They were married in the

Logan Temple on June 2, 1939. Mary enjoyed working in the Church

more than anything. She was a Relief Society President for more than

15 years in 2 different wards. She was a faithful temple worker in the

L.A. Temple for more than 20 years, even during the last five years of her life

when she was on dialysis because of failed kidneys

On April 15, 2004 she worked in the temple, attended R.S. that

night and then died quietly while kneeling beside her bed later that evening.

Her whole family adored her as she did them.
