Mary's thoughts on service
Throughout all my married life I have worked in some organization in our church. I was superintendent of Religion classes in Richfield 1st Ward soon after our marriage in 1910, and in early 1913, when Olive was a very young baby, I became counselor to Dora S Poulson in Relief Society. I worked in that organization until 1930, when our 4th Ward was created and I was made president and labored in that ward until 1953 when we went to California to spend our winters. Since that time I have only helped where help was needed in any of the several wards we have lived.
