When you’re young, you don’t always appreciate the best things about a person. So is took me until just a few years before Dorothy died before I really learned to appreciate so many things about her. She had such a strong spirit and testimony and I felt that in her so completely. She was a great example to me. Whenever I feel like I am failing as a mother-in-law, I try to remember how she handled things. It helps me to make decisions and know what to do. (I know kids, I’m not perfect but I am better because of her example to me.) We miss her a lot.
