Mary Jane Ogden

Mary Jane was born 9 February 1924 in Richfield, Utah. She was the seventh child of Walter Marsh and Mary Olive Ross Ogden. Mary Jane was given "a name and a blessing" by her grandfather, Thomas Ogden, 6 April 1924. Mary Jane was named after her mother and her father's favorite sister, Jane. She attended schools in Richfield, Utah, and graduated from Richfield High School. She attended LDS Nursing School and University of Utah. She "got the love bug" while in nursing school when she met Eldon Joseph Kloepfer. They married 5 October 1944 in Salt Lake City.

"Mary Jane was born on Saturday morning at six o'clock, very normal size and cute as could be. She had very beautifully shaped lips, and always a smile on her face. She was especially fond of magazines when she was one year old, and other toys had no charms for her for some time. She was a very playful little girl who would rather climb trees and hike in the hills with her brothers than play paper dolls with sister Dorothy. She loved Dorothy very much and was a little mother to her."
